My crown has fallen out

Ensure that you keep the area clean with fluoridated toothpaste.

Clean the crown (using a clean paperclip or similar and check that you can seat it comfortably over the tooth it came off from.

  • Do not force the crown on your tooth

  • Check that you can bite comfortably on the crown and that it is not too high

You can re-cement the crown onto your tooth using temporary cement from your local pharmacy or online.

If your crown is not fitting properly, do not attempt to cement it back on, keep it safe and wait until you can see your dentist

Never use superglue to try and fix your crown back in!

If you are worried about doing this yourself please book a consultation and I will help walk you through the steps.
